My name is Lucie Künzelová and I teach flute. I discovered music at the Robert Schumann Elementary Art School in Aš, where I fell in love with the flute. I later studied the instrument at the Conservatory in Plzeň and currently continue my studies at the Faculty of Music of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
As a flutist, I have experience in both chamber and orchestral music, not only in classical repertoire but also in contemporary music. In addition, I teach at the Elementary Art School in Kralovice. I continually broaden my musical perspective by attending courses and masterclasses, and I strive to pass all these experiences on to my students.
The goal of my teaching is not only to build solid technical foundations but also to develop a deep understanding of both music and the instrument. I consider the development of musicality to be essential. I believe that with a positive approach and enthusiasm, almost anything can be achieved. I place strong emphasis on proper breathing and healthy playing habits so that you can begin playing the way you imagine as soon as possible. My aim is for everyone to feel free to express themselves musically without being confined to rigid categories — individuality is important, and I will help you develop it.
